Flat Car Photos
Friends, good weather, and Tom Bee flatcars, are hard to beat.
Tom's flatcars are constructed
with the steel floor 1/2" below
the sidesills. This allows the end user to use 1/2" plywood
as
a sub-floor, and glue, staple, or nail, any type of decking to it.

Don't you just love night photography? Trains don't stop at night,
and we don't either.
The owner of this car has added stake pockets
and steps and grabirons
from Precision Steel Car Company. Also
notice he has nailed
strip-planking to his plywood sub-floor and
finished the deck with polyurethane.

Here, you see Day Lilies, and a pickup truck hauling a flatcar,
but look closely. With
16 wheels,this flatcar could probably
haul the pickup truck!
