Tom, Your trucks set the standard for our hobby. Thanks for the web pages on technical specifications for trucks showing the de facto IBLS standards plus your additions. You should publish this in Live Steam for the hobby. I have made about six sets of trucks from your kits and have to say that they run better than other suppliers. I have also taken other trucks and re-machined them to your specs to get them to work better. Your profile of wheels seems to do the trick for tracking best. I do however dis-assemble them and paint them an Aluminum color. It does not affect the flawless operation at all. Makes them really stand out on a freight car. It has been in a truck trailer on a railroad flatcar in the local train yard since last Wednesday. They couldn't get the truck trailer unloaded from the flatcar because of snow until last night or today, anyway I got a call this morning that the combination car was available for pickup. Got it home and unloaded from my truck OK. Unpacked it and found it to be in excellent condition. Thanx again for an exceptional product, well worth the money. Bill Cody . . . Hi Tom, I received two pairs of your couplers this afternoon. I am extremely impressed. The design is OUTSTANDING. They open and close superbly. They are just like the real thing. I did not have to do any filing what so ever to get them to operate. They have real flexibility. I really like that channel idea of where the springs are positioned. I also like the oblong hole in the bottom of the shank. The 3/8" bolts fit just right. The springs were painted which gave them a nice neat look let alone a great finish.
